The Sound of Things That Are Too Big and Too Old

Audio-visual installation; time-machine for the present. Viewers listen to digitally manipulated soundscapes while spinning in wooden swings. A series of five videos depict a coastal site and the ceiling panels of the room in which they are installed, all spinning wildly.

Materials: Five silent videos; five TVs; five pedestals; two listening hoods; two soundscapes; two wooden swings
